Frequently Asked Questions
Are Serendip Naturals’ products natural and organic?
The ingredients we use in our products
are plant based or plant derived and are sourced from regulated, accredited suppliers
and growers who supply or grow Australian Certified Organic(ACO) products or 100%
pure, responsibly sourced ingredients from all over the world. Any palm
oil used is RSPO certified.
Serendip Naturals is a proudly
Australian owned and operated company and all our products are made in
Australia. They are biodegradable, safe for water recycling and do not
contaminate our waterways.
Do you test your products on animals?
No, our products are:
Cruelty free - Not tested on animals. Environmentally aware, ecologically sustainable.
Free of pesticides, parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrances and chemicals, silicone, GMO and PEG.
Planet friendly with reusable or recyclable packaging.
Do Serendip Naturals skin care products have an expiry date?
Keeping your products out of
direct light in a cool place is best or store in the refrigerator because light and heat impact on the emulsifiers in skincare products causing separation of
the oil and water components.
Our black glass bottles were chosen to reduce the effects of UV and light degradation and being inert, glass does not react with the contents.
Not replacing the lid on the container exposes the contents to air and contaminants like bacteria reducing effectiveness
and causing oxidisation which can result in altered smell, texture, colour ,
visible mould and potential skin irritation.
Using clean, dry hands or a scooping
utensil when using moisturisers is recommended
If stored properly as recommended
above, our products should be used within 12 months from opening.
Adverse or unwanted reaction
Skin care, body care and cosmetic ingredients can cause irritation or a reaction even at the lowest concentration, especially for sensitive skin. Products that have been used for years without a problem, can
sometimes trigger an unexpected reaction or, the reaction may be due to other
changes you haven’t considered such as laundry and cleaning products, diet and
exposure to environmental allergens.
Stop using the product immediately if you experience an adverse reaction. Wash the affected area with cool water, if using a wet soft cloth or wipe to gently clean off the product from
your face, stroke away from the eyes, outwards and downwards. A cool compress
on the affected area will help soothe redness, itching or burning. If the
irritation or reaction persists, please consult a healthcare professional.
In the unlikely event
that you experience a reaction to a Serendip Naturals product, discontinue use
and please contact us directly. info@serendipnaturals.com We're here to help and support.
